I first came here to study at Moscow State University during the 2005-2006 academic year under a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship. I began the blog as a way to report back to my sponsor club in Seattle about my activities during the scholarship. I am now writing about my perspective as a foreigner that has been living and working in the country for nearly five years.
